I have a traxxas t maxx 3.3 with no reverse. When i drive it to full trottle and go into idle position, the engine just turns off. Plz someone tell me wat to do.

thats sounds like the one way bearing
when it happens...slowly pull it up, and hopefully it should catch...once it does pull fast. it may not work tho

WoodyW123, I'm not an expert on nitro, but this could easily be a problem with the electronics such as with the calibration or the controls or a fault in the electronics. Does the problem go away once it's warmed up? If so that would suggest it probably is a nitro problem rather than an electronics problem. That's not conclusive, but a start :)

ill have to try i i think its somthing to do with my controller but it just goes fullout and then cuts off when there is no fuel left

too low idle speed, if you brake, the carb will close completely, and the engine shuts off, increase idle speed...

Dude i fixed mine. It was a faulty glow plug. Fixed it everything is fine. And my idle was too high, lowered it and its working fine.
TMAXX OWNZ ALL. Forget the savage!!!!

WoodyW123, tell you what. I'm not familiar with how the servo will be connected to the throttle. But if it's exposed, or you can get at it, disconnect the servo from the throttle on the engine and see if it still revs up when you start it. My hunch is that it won't, and that you will be able to control the revs by directly manipulating the throttle on the engine.
If anyone knows better than me, they are welcome to speak up. :)

my ngine doesnt start :( i'm using the suposed factory settings that came with the instructions, but they seem wrong, as if i do them the thing that the servo pulls becomes stuck ??? help anyone?

The Pull Becomes stuck because the Glow plug is to tight on. Loosen it a bit and try again. The car wont start either:
1. Idle Needle
2. Needle Valve

Is this car shifting into 2nd gear? I have a 2 speed nitro buggy, but it shifts way later (higher rpms) than this one. Just wondering if it's me or if Im hearing it shift. thanks, cool vid!
