Its a term used to identify whites people from other races beit blacks(africans),chinese,indians,arabs,etc. whites will not be 'blank people' as you say, they will be caucasoid, aryan, white.etc. Lastly I rather be broke than be a male artist* like Mr Vegas that has a annoying feminine voice and who sings rubbish.

If you have to ask why this music is popular, then you must be living under a rock for a good portion of your life. And this "type" of music is called dancehall, it stems from reggae music from jamaica. This "type" of music is part of the jamaican culture, its not just "polular" ITS CULTURE!!. And yes to your ignorant phrase all of us colored people love it,spanish,indian,africans,chinese its our music "THE COLORED FOLKS".

Actually in the case I am talking about I am right. With pigment white is the absence and black is all colours. With light black is the absence of colour and white is all colours. So in the case of skin, which falls under pigment, I am right.
